The Man in the Sky
Jesus said that as it was during the days of Lot, so shall it be when during the time when Jesus returns. Find out where we are today in prophetic history! It might shock you!

The Man in the Sky

I had a curious dream. It was about a man coming through the sky. His name was not called Jesus in the dream. He was simply a man. He had an agenda. I wrote the dream down and forgot about it. I emailed it to myself, which is what I often do. More than 6 months later, when I was reviewing some of my dreams, I came across the dream again, and realized, “This looks a lot like Jesus in the Bible. Why did I not notice it before?”

Later, I wrote an explanation of what I thought the dream meant (kind of like the first draft of what you are reading right now). I thought I had figured it out. I was wrong. There was a critical part (the part about the parking lot in the dream which you will soon read) that I still did not understand. I explained this dream to two people as best as I could. Suddenly, after explaining it to them, my mind was opened! I finally understood what the parking lot was all about. It was about the “days of Lot” that Jesus spoke about in the Bible. Jesus said that in the end times, before his return, it would be like the days of Lot.

The days of Lot were characterized by an attitude of complacency, arrogance, self-entitlement, violence, a lack of patience, a lack of compassion, a rejection of God, immorality, self-indulgence, and pride. And I think most Christians would agree, we are currently living in days that look a lot like this. These are the attitudes that are a precursor to God coming back in judgment. And so it is not without reason that Jesus said that just as it was in the days of Lot, so it would be when the Son of man is revealed.

Jesus was talking about his own eventual return (see Luke 17:28-30). The purpose for Jesus returning is to bring judgment to a fallen world, and to establish his kingdom in Jerusalem. From there, Jesus and all those who have faith in him, will rule and reign for 1000 years. This period of time is known as the millennium.

I would like to encourage you to walk through this dream with me. If you are familiar with the Bible, I think you will discover that this dream is really a biblical commentary of some of the more important things that are happening in our world today. It is actually quite stunning. In this dream, you will find complacency in the assemblies or churches. You will find a lack of zeal for the lost. You will find darkness and the love of money in the assemblies or churches.

And perhaps most striking of all, you will find a coming together of churches under the banner of what appears to be a one-world religious system, which is condemned by God. In fact, it is overtly shown that the church that is welcoming this unity is not in any way connected to God. It is 100% cut-off from God. What church could this be? The church is associated with the color white in the dream. There are some pretty big tip-offs that actually make it clear as to exactly what organization the Lord is referring to. This dream is really a wake-up call of sorts. But is anyone listening?

I would like to now present you with the dream.

The Dream

There was a man in the sky. He was flying like superman. Initially he was on the ground and went up into the sky to do something. It was something he said he was going to do. It was like he was running an errand.

This sounds like Jesus, because Jesus was initially on the ground when he came to the earth more than 2000 years ago. Then, from Acts 1:9, we read that he ascended (into the sky) to heaven. Before he went there, he told his disciples,

“I am going to prepare a place for you.” (See John 14:2)

And in that same passage, he said he would come back:

“If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.” (John 14:3)

So far, the man in the sky looks like Jesus.

The dream continues:

After he did what he wanted to do in the sky, he immediately and very quickly came down from the sky without any delay.

In the book of Revelation, Jesus said,

“Behold, I come quickly.” (See Revelation 22:12)

This part fits the description of Jesus, as well.

The dream continues:

He descended (in anger and in judgment) very close to where I was, which was almost immediately beside me but not exactly where I was, but very close. At that point in time there were three of us there. The man in the sky was angry with one of these people. In fact, his goal was not to exact any type of vengeance upon me, but he was very angry with another man who was with me.

This picture fits the description of Jesus coming back to judge the world in righteousness, just like it says in the Bible:

[God] has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained [Jesus]. (See Acts 17:31)

If this dream is about Jesus, why would he be angry with one of the men I was with? The Bible says,

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)

Therefore, it must be that one of the men I was with was not a believer. And that is why the wrath of God abided on him.

The dream continues:

When the man on the ground saw the man in the sky coming, he cried out, “Call 911!” He said this because the man in the sky was coming for him and was coming to attack him. He feared he would die at the hands of the man in the sky who was coming to attack him.

In the dream, the attack came very suddenly. The attack is not an attack from the enemy, but God’s righteous anger against sin. For the Bible declares,

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” (Romans 1:18)

There was no time for the man on the ground (being judged) to do anything. He was suddenly caught. He could not escape. This is consistent with what we read in the Bible, because in the Bible it says,

For when they are saying, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman; and they will in no way escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

Thus, a day is truly coming in which God will judge the world. It will be a terrible and frightful day, especially for those who do not know God!

The dream continues:

The man in the sky was coming very fast. The man in the sky came and descended like lightning — very fast.

This reminds me of what Jesus said concerning his second coming:

“For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matthew 24:27)

There seems to be an indication here of how quickly events will unfold. Before that time, however, there will be tribulation and birth pains (meaning various distresses on the earth).

The dream continues:

He came and landed on the ground seemingly attacking the man we were with.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why I did not immediately think this dream was about Jesus. It is because the man who had come from the sky was very angry. However, what does the Bible say? Concerning those who refuse to obey God, the Bible says,

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31)

The Bible says,

“But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God; who will pay back to everyone according to their works: to those who by perseverance in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life; but to those who are self-seeking, and don’t obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath, indignation, tribulation, and anguish on every soul of man who does evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 2:5-9)

The dream continues:

My second friend and I ran as fast as we could because of this (because of the wrath of the man who had come from the sky), in order to find someone who had a phone.

This picture is interesting. What could the phone represent? I think it is obvious, because in the dream, the man being attacked had said to call 911. In other words, he wanted us to get some help. The phone therefore represents calling out to God for help. Does the same God who judges sin want to help? The answer is yes. Believers (those who already know God) are in a position to pray for the lost, even as Moses interceded for the nation of Israel that was lost in sin, whom God wanted to judge.

Yahweh said to Moses, “I have seen these people, and behold, they are a stiff-necked people. Now therefore leave me alone, that my wrath may burn hot against them, and that I may consume them; and I will make of you a great nation.” (Exodus 32:9-10)

Moses begged Yahweh his God, and said, “Yahweh, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, that you have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? Why should the Egyptians talk, saying, ‘He brought them out for evil, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the surface of the earth?’ Turn from your fierce wrath, and turn away from this evil against your people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore by your own self, and said to them, ‘I will multiply your offspring as the stars of the sky, and all this land that I have spoken of I will give to your offspring, and they shall inherit it forever.’” (Exodus 32:11-13)

So Yahweh turned away from the evil which he said he would do to his people. (Exodus 32:14)

As followers of Christ, and servants of the living God, we are called to be like Moses, and to pray for the lost, so that the lost can escape the wrath of God. Therefore, the phone represents (effective, true, righteous, godly) prayer.

“The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.” (See James 5:16)

It makes sense, because the phone is a means to communicate. And prayer is the way that we communicate with God.

The dream continues:

My friend and I ran towards a man in order to find someone who had a phone. We asked at least one man who did not have one. This man was on the street corner of a city street. It was as though he was washing cars or had some business on that street corner. The street corner and the amount of the street corner that he occupied was quite large. You could park a car there or likely several. It was an expanded area.

This is the part of the dream in which I initially stumbled. I did not get it. It was a foggy blur for many months, until I explained the dream to two others. Then, God opened my eyes. Every time I read this part of the dream, I kept thinking about a parking lot. Suddenly, it clicked! God was using this imagery to point me to the days of Lot.

Jesus said:

“As it was in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man. They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise, even as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky, and destroyed them all. It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.” (Luke 17:26-30)

The dream continues:

We then asked a man who was in an enclosed space (behind a window, it seemed). It was as though he was sitting on a ladder. He motioned as though pulling out his phone (it was hard to see him), appeared to call 911, and said there would be a 6 dollar charge.

Notice how the man was sitting on a ladder, meaning he was elevating himself. Jesus said, concerning the religious leaders of his own day,

“The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat” (see Matthew 23:2).

The scribes and Pharisees had elevated themselves. And that seems to be the picture of what we are seeing here. This person sitting on a ladder seems to be elevating himself.

Genuine Christians are people who have a true connection with God. They do not sit in darkness. It was hard to see this man, which indicates he was in a certain amount of darkness. He said there would be a six-dollar charge, meaning he was carnally-minded (fleshly in his thinking).

His predominant thought was service for money, not service for the Lord. The man had a phone, which in this dream, represents the means to communicate with God. Thus, this man was standing in the seat of those who serve God. And in a very real way, he was like the scribes and Pharisees of old, who merely served God for the sake of appearance. But their heart was not with him.

The Bible says,

The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they scoffed at him (meaning they scoffed at Jesus). He (meaning Jesus) said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.” (Luke 16:14-15)

This is basically the picture of what we are seeing in this dream. The Lord is basically showing us certain people who are not serving God at all. There are two more points I would like to make about this particular scene. First, the man was behind a window. Christian places of worship (that is, assemblies, or churches) are very often typified in western society by stained-glass windows.

Second, this was in an enclosed space, as opposed to being outdoors where Jesus normally was, mixing and mingling with the crowd, so that he could win them for God. This man was sitting inside collecting money. And so it seems clear to me that what the Lord is getting at is with regards to certain Christian leaders who are not in any way interested in serving God. Rather, they are serving themselves, and money.

One more point. The number 6 is often said to represent man. This also points towards man’s ways, and not God’s ways. You will notice the number of the Antichrist or the beast of the book of Revelation is 666 (see Revelation 13:18). Since I was shown the number 6, it points towards man’s ways, as opposed to God’s ways. Constantly, in the Bible, the number associated with God is 7 and not 6 (see Revelation 1).

The dream continues:

He motioned as though pulling out his phone. I had no assurance this call was even made. I had no confidence in this man.

No wonder I had no confidence in him! The man was a lover of money and was like one of the Pharisees. On a similar note, Jesus also had no confidence in the Pharisees.

The dream continues:

I said to the man I was with, “pay him,” or to that effect, but I wasn’t that serious because this man had scammed us. Why was there a 6 dollar charge for a 911 call? So I didn’t agree to that. Anyway, we had no money. He did show us the 6 dollar charge (on his phone), but again it was dimly lit and in an enclosed space.

This part of the dream points towards unlawful justification to demand money, as the man was using his phone to justify his outrageous charge. This man’s focus was on money, and not on serving God. What does the phone represent in this context? Here we see more symbolism.

The phone probably represents a Bible app at this point. Because Christians commonly have the Bible on their phones. So when he was showing me his phone, he was showing me his justification for charging me money. Of course, it was a false justification. He was bending and twisting the Scriptures, in order to make me feel like I had to pay him some money. In fact, he was making it out as though God expected me to pay him some money.

And this is the way it is in many churches today. What happens in many churches is that the preachers will in a sense extort money from you by taking certain Scripture passages out of context. For example, the Bible says,

“Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

But many preachers teach that you owe God money, and if you do not pay a certain amount, for example, ten percent of your salary, to the church, then you are in violation of God’s commandments.

Tithing was an Old Testament form of taxation that was instituted for the nation of Israel only. Some people, and even entire church organizations, while acknowledging that we are not under the Old Testament law that was applicable only to Israel, still twist the Scriptures to say that grace does better than law, so the minimum amount you should give is ten percent of your salary.

And in so doing, they are entirely confusing a form of taxation, with freewill giving. The two should not be compared in any way. And what they are teaching is not taught in Scripture.

Jesus condemned the Pharisees because they were lovers of money, and not lovers of people. He said to them,

“You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.” (See Luke 16:15)

The dream continues:

We walked (or ran) a bit further and found another person who had some type of wired landline. I tried several times to call 911 but was unsuccessful. The phone was white and large and had large buttons.

This time we found someone who was claiming to have a direct connection with God, because it was a wired landline, yet notice the phone does not work! Then, the final two lines of the dream:

Meanwhile the “6-dollar man” came by to demand his money. I had tried multiple times to call 911 on that second phone, but it just wasn’t working!

This is a truly fascinating ending to the dream, and it made me think for the longest while exactly what this was truly about.

Why does the man sitting in darkness (the “6-dollar man”) come to the second institution? It’s his carnal desire (in this case, his desire for money) that draws him. Note, I am standing right at the second institution and the man comes to me, being carnally-minded. Thus, it’s a religious mindset, but a carnal mindset, that draws him to the second institution. And that is exactly how it is in the world today.

One example is how many Protestant churches are now joining with the Roman Catholic Church, but Protestant and Roman Catholic doctrine do not actually mix. Protestant doctrine says that Jesus paid for our sins entirely on the cross. But Roman Catholic doctrine says that Jesus “imperfectly” paid for our sins on the cross, thus, justifying the need for Purgatory, which is nowhere taught in the Bible. And yes, this is official Roman Catholic doctrine as can be found at Catholic.com. To quote,

“The Catechism of the Catholic Church defines purgatory as a “purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven,” which is experienced by those “who die in God’s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified” (CCC 1030).”1

But if we compare this quote to Scripture passages such as John 1:29, John 19:30, Romans 6:10, Hebrews 1:3, and Jude 1:3, we find a complete incompatibility with the Scriptures. Clearly, from the Scriptures, Jesus died entirely and perfectly for our sins, and not imperfectly. You see, if Jesus died imperfectly, then we are still in our sins. We are powerless to pay for those sins ourselves.

In reality, “all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags”, as the prophet Isaiah pointed out in Isaiah 64:6.

“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” (Isaiah 64:6)

“But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:21-24)

If then all are justified freely by his grace, then it is by grace that we are saved, and not by works. In other words, as the hymn says, Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe, sin had left a crimson stain, he washed it white as snow.

Thus, justification is by faith alone. And there is nothing we can do to add to that. And this now leads us to the question, why does the second phone not work at all? What does the second phone represent?

Let’s go over this very carefully. What religious institution on the earth is characterized by white and is very large? If you guessed, the Roman Catholic Church, I think you would not be mistaken. But does it make sense? Well, I think it does.

This dream is, I believe, the Lord’s commentary on what is happening in these last days. The dream itself starts with the return of Christ, which signifies that judgment is coming to this world. Wrath is poured out on the unbelievers. There is darkness in the churches. The love of money is at an all-time high. Bending or twisting Scripture for the sake of money is at an all-time high. Carnality in the churches or assemblies is at an all-time high.

The dream ends. But be warned. There is a lot more to this dream than meets the eye. The Creator appears to have spoken concerning the days in which we are now living. And these days are the days of Lot!
